Finance Division

Finance Division is responsible for the financial management of the university and provides premium and professional services to our academic and administrative divisions and research institutes.
Finance Division reports its administrative and managerial duties directly to the Rector. Finance Division is consisted of five units, treasury and revenue unit, accounting and payment unit, financial planning and analysis unit, fixed asset control unit, and project and fund management unit.
The University is developing quickly and the functions of finance have become more important. The Finance Division takes a more vital role to provide premium financial management.
Functions and Scope of works :

Functions

  • Manage and monitor the implementation of the budget plans
  • Monitor and manage the cash flows and the funds
  • Provide and verify financial and management reports
  • Control and manage the fixed assets registers and inventory

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for all the treasury issues and financial transactions
  • Accountable to the cash receipts and all payment issues including the reimbursement and expenditure to all staff and students
  • Provide professional and effective financial advice to faculties, departments, and project owners
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and financial analysis to management
  • Coordinate with auditors for the annual financial statement and project audit
  • Provide departmental financial reports to academic and administrative divisions
  • Prepare the university annual budget and monitor the implementation of the budget
  • Manage and verify the fixed asset register and inventory books
